Our board member and Equine Behaviorist, Jennifer Ott Cameron, has been working with the San Mateo County Mounted Search and Rescue (SMCMSAR) volunteers at monthly training sessions sponsored by the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office. Jennifer teaches the fundamentals of equine behavior and training with a special focus on proper desensitization methods to meet the demands of service horses. Sessions include guided discussions followed by practice and application in the arena.
