Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority’s (SVACA’s) Outreach Coordinator Francesca Fioresi and Project HumaneKind’s advisor Leonor Delgado visited Stevenson Elementary in Mountain View to teach students about the animal care center’s role in the community and ways in which residents can help SVACA best do its job. The speakers also focused on safety around animals, pet care, and the rescue and care of community cats. The students were fascinated by the humane cat trap used to secure these cats. There was no lack of questions from these interested and motivated students! Special thanks to Stevenson for the invitation!
